We Could Use Your Help!
Volunteers are a core component of our on-site efforts.
Squad Descriptions
  • Guest Services Squad
Welcome guests into the festival, help direct foot traffic, answer any questions and help with security when needed. Customer service skills are a must for this team.
  • Sanitation Squad
Our city has a beautiful park to enjoy, and we love keeping it that way! The Sanitation Squad members help pick up trash, empty and replace trash cans, and help the park remain clean throughout the day.
  • Stage Squad
Assist in loading/unloading artist and band gear and setting it up/tearing it down for the band performances. Earlier morning and later night availability is required — less busy during the daytime. Must be at least 18 years old, and able to lift a minimum of 100 lbs. Previous stage crew experience preferred, but not required.
  • Stations & Vending Squad
Supervise activities at assigned stations, supporting local and national nonprofit organizations, or sell artist and/or NMD merchandise. Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle money is required for the vending assignment. Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Security Squad
Safety and security are a top priority. The Security Squad helps keep a safe environment for all guests by securing various entry points throughout the park and reporting injuries or incidents to on-site emergency response members.
  • Squad Not Listed
Available only for those who have been contacted by a Coordinator for a squad we have not listed above. Please use this only if your preferred position is not listed here.
